He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Caldeira and Carolina Caldeira (Gonsalves); and his siblings, Heliodoro and Alvaro Caldeira of Madeira, Portugal.. He is survived by: his wife Maria J. Sousa (Monteiro); his stepdaughter Michelle Sousa; his children, Manuel Caldeira and Suzanne Caldeira; and his sister Maria Asensaon Caldeira of Venezuela.
