He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel G. Mitchell and Marion Mitchell (Benson); his siblings-in-law, Marilen Prescott, Jimmy Linehan, Bill Eastman and Allan Taylor; and his brother Robert Mitchell.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Mitchell (Prescott); his children, Guy Mitchell (Christine Mitchell) of North Attleboro, MA and Heather Menz (James Menz) of Quincy, MA; his grandchildren, Sophia, Jimmy, Gavin, Peter, Arianna, Grant, Hannah, Sammy, Olivia and Noah; his sister Jane Taylor; and his siblings-in-law, Louise Mitchell, Linda Linehan, Gail Eastman, William Prescott, Deborah Prescott, Melissa Palanza, Michael Wing and Kathy Cutillo.
