He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis E. Mayers and Marie F. Bouchard (Gavin); and his sibling Francis Mayers. He is survived by: his children, Ben Mayers (Mayers), Laura Mailhot (Roger Mailhot) and Katie Miranda (Joe Miranda); his grandchildren, Liam Goff, Christopher Mailhot, Isabel Mayers, Gianna Mayers, Chiara Mayers and Logan Miranda; his great grandchild Arielle Mailhot; and his siblings, Louis Mayers, Rose Sell, Richard Mayers and Roland Mayers.
Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Teresa Church, Pawtucket will be private.
