It's sad to see him go, but I know he is at peace now eating his Takis and drinking his minute maid peach mango. Rest easy Grant, love you bro.”

Jack Wimsatt wrote a sympathy message

“I only knew Grant for a little over a month but I can say just in the short time knowing him that he was an amazing soul. He was the type of person to give you the clothes off his back when he had nothing to give. He was extremely kind and welcoming when I first came to halfway and was one of the kids who really took me in and made me feel at home. Being with Grant was always a pleasure and though he struggled with his demons he always tried to bring up the people around him. I send my prayers.”
