Doris Chapman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Chapman of North Andover, Massachusetts, born in Rocky Hill, Connecticut, who passed away on September 24, 2024, at the age of 105, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothea Durkee (Doble) and Roy Durkee; her sisters, Ruth (Lane), Norma (Plummer) and Christine (Currier); her spouse Chappy; her close friend Jean Merrill; and her grandson Kazia.
She is survived by: her children, Judith (Davis), Dana, Alan and Mary (Treadway); and her daughters-in-law, Paula Chapman (Woodworth) and Jill Connolly. She is also survived by 40 grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, as well as a loving extended family.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the P.E.O. Sisterhood or the Gideons in Doris's name.
