He was predeceased by: his sister Laurie Babcock. He is survived by: his wife Karen Sue Fairs (Sylvester); his children, Kerry Fairs (David Stevens) of North Adams and James Fairs (Joanna) of Saratoga Springs, NY.; his grandchildren, Avery and William; and his stepdaughter Jessica Atkinson of Boston, MA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
