He was predeceased by: his brothers, Forrest, Earl and Robert Sherman. He is survived by: his wife Louise M. Houghtaling; his children, Michael P. Sherman (Laura) of North Adams, Daniel E. Sherman of Pownal, VT and Elizabeth M. Elder (Jacob) of Clarksburg; and his grandchildren, Ryan Sherman, Jack Sherman, Lucas Elder, Kie Sherman and Emma Sherman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
