He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold L. Bush and Eva Marie Bush (Tessier); and his brother Harold Bush. He is survived by: his sons, Craig A. Bush of Clarksburg, MA and Dr. Martin K. Bush (Jennifer); his former wife Marlene Blanchard; his grandchildren, Alex, Alyssa (Yiorgos Maravelias), Adam (Claudia Bresett), Aaron Bush, Christine Prejsnar (Alan), Eric Dudek (Diana), Tara Goldberg (Jonathan), Shealee Nigro (Sal) and Lindsay Frisk (Dustin); and also Darlene Blanchette (David).
