He was predeceased by: his parents, John LaPine and Thelma Vanderhule Meiklejohn; his wife Theresa Helen Chenail LaPine; and his siblings, John, Robert, Donald and Marion Green.
He is survived by: his stepfathers, Hector Bissaillon (Hap) and Thomas Meiklejohn; his children, Bill LaPine (Cheryl) of Virgina Beach, VA, Karl LaPine of Adams, MA, Mark LaPine (Deb) of Clarksburg, MA and Terry Tatro (Ernie) of North Adams, MA.; his grandchildren, Billy, Angie, Jen, Josh, Scott, Michelle, Carla, Chris, Gina, Sammy, Austin and Jordan; his sister Lois Hescock (Sue); and his pets, Bugsy and Petu. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
Flowers may be sent to the funeral home in his memory or memorial donations are suggested for Hospice of Western and Central Massachusetts through the funeral home.
