He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Joseph and Mildred Helen Racette (Carsno); and his siblings, Shirley Clukey, Patricia Goman, Jean Bessette, Sandra Racette Arthur "Flash" Racette, Richard Racette and Donald Racette.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Marie Racette (Rotolo); his children, Sharyn Armitage (David) of North Adams, David John Racette (Alice) of North Adams and Arthur "Jack" Racette (Michelle) of North Adams; his grandchildren, Jacob Racette, Molly Racette, Justin Racette, Collin Racette, Danielle Racette and Reece Racette; and his brother Robert "Skip" Racette. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Memorial donations are suggested for the Northern Berkshire Ambulance Service.
