She was predeceased by: her parents, Xavier Hess and Louise Michel Hess; and her husband Alphonse A. Tyska. She is survived by: her children, Ruth L. Pepoon (Daniel) of Wells, ME, Sharon T. Sullivan (James Gravitt) of York, ME, Alfred J. Tyska (Val Soldo Tyska) of Cheshire and Jonathan F. Tyska (Anne) of Pittsfield; her grandchildren, Michelle Tyksa (Ryan McIntyre), Lisa Tyksa, Tina Tyksa Beckwith, Marlee Tyska (Louis Ditello), John Tyska, Clement Tyska, Nolan Sullivan, Nicholas Sullivan, Kyle Sullivan and Daniel Pepoon, Jr. (Amber); her great grandchildren, Annabelle Beckwith, Vivian Ditello and Frankie Ditello; and her nieces, Sue Hess Zuber and Barbara White.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in care of the funeral Home.
