He was predeceased by: his mother Elizabeth Douglas; and his brother Steven Gillespie. He is survived by: his wife Judi Ann Douglas (Marklay); his children, Terri Douglas Bird (Frank) of North Adams and Brian Douglas (James Phillips); his grandchildren, Nolan Douglas Bird (Hannah), Hayden Nathan Bird (Paige), Reighan John Douglas and Scottie Douglas Bird; and his brother Kenneth Douglas (Gail). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
