She was predeceased by: her parents, James Bryson and Elizabeth Bryson (O'Connell); and her siblings, James Bryson, Jr. and Virginia Scully. She is survived by: her husband Norbert Gilman; and her children, Judith Nesman of West Springfield, MA, Russell Gilman (Susan) of North Adams, Margery Therrien (Steven) of Clifton Park, NY, Richard Gilman of Plymouth, MA, Gary Gilman (Emory) of Troutdale, OR, Donald Gilman (Terese) of Simi Valley, CA and William Gilman (Kelley) of Sandy, OR.. She is also survived by 31 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, 16 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Salvation Army and the Northern Berkshire Food Bank in Dorothy's honor.
