With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Audrey Lynn McDonald of North Adams, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Audrey left this world on July 18, 2024 at the age of 28, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Audrey is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Audrey's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She is survived by: her parents, Jennifer Marie McDonald of Adams, MA and Corey Lee Shays; her stepmother Mai (Shays); her siblings, Ava Dixon of Adams, MA and Tristen Shays of Shaftsbury, VT; and her fiancé Corey M. Girard of North Adams, MA.. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, grandparents and friends.

Memorial donations may be made to Second Chance Animal Shelter in Arlington VT.

“Ms.Mcdonald was a wonderful and bright soul. I met her in 9th grade and she's helped me so much and I've done the same to repay her for her kindness. It breaks my heart to know she won't see me graduate from school and make her proud like she said I would. BART will never be the same without seeing her & asking how my day is going. She had stresses in our school but she handled them with grace. I even gave her my donut stress toy to help her. My deepest condolences for her Fiance, family, and friends. I will miss you & never forget you. Fly High angel, we'll miss you🕊”
