He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur F. Smith and Emma F. Smith (Harvey); his wife Mary Ann Norton; his daughter Alicia Smith (David M. Thomas) of Dalton; and his sister Patricia A. Smith of North Adams. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and friends.
