He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Voelker and Minna Voelker (Gross); his wife Peggy Ann (Rueb); his brother Ralph Voelker; and his sister-in-law Janet Voelker.
He is survived by: his children, Alfred S. Voelker (Suzanne) of Westampton, NJ, Susan Therrien (Michael) of North Adams, Barbara LaBonte (Mark) of North Adams, Cathy Howe (Jim) of Clarksburg and Peggy Hewitt (Carlton) of Forest, Virginia.; his grandchildren, Stephanie, Katelyn, Kelly Therrien, Megan, Ryan Voelker, Molly, Natalie Howe, Jared, Emily, Andrew Labonte, Nicholas and Ashley Hewitt; his great grandchildren, Londyn, Lylah Cruse and RJ Voelker; his nephew Donald Voelker (Jean); his niece Nancy Tennant (Dan) of Florida; his close friend Donna Herman of Westfield, MA.; and also, Kara and Tracey Herman.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home For Funerals- West Chapel (521 W Main St, North Adams, MA 01247). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Sherman Burbank Memorial Chapel (705 Main St, Williamstown, MA 01267).
Memorial donations may be made to the J. Michael Kennedy Williamstown American Legion in care of the funeral home.
