He was predeceased by: his son William T. Muise Jr.; and his siblings, Arthur "Butch", Robert "Bobby", Joseph "Joey" and Sandra.

He is survived by: his wife Susan D. Muise; his children, Robin Fiorillo Licarie, Sheila Carter, Christine LaCroix (Lou) and Stacey Thornton (Al); his grandchildren, Ashley, Chelsey, Kristopher, Jessica, Nicholas, Noelle, Billy, Hannah, Emily, Aidan, Chace and Brian; his great grandchildren, Jameson, Mia and Brody; and his siblings, Richard "Ricky", Paul, Frank "Frankie", Bertha, Donna, Marianne and Lisa. He is also survived by Friends and family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Tom's memory to the American Legion Nonantum Post 440 or the Newton Police Memorial Association.
