Sabin MD (Newton, Massachusetts), born in Webster, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 28, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce N. Sabin. He is survived by: his close friend Lane C. Tylec; his brother Willam F. Sabin (Mary) of Boylston, MA.; his grandchildren, Paulina C. Sterpe, Emeline A. Sterpe (Tina), George F. Sabin, Henry D. Sabin, Ann L. Sabin, Lucy N. Sabin (Doug), Michael T. Sabin and Jocelyn M. Sabin (Paul); his stepgrandchildren, Sarah Governo Allar and Ben Governo Allar (Katie); and his great grandchild Sage Allar (Tina).

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Tufts Medical Center in support of the Neurology Department.

“For the Sabin family: Tom Sabin was my medical school classmate at Tufts, class of 1962. I deeply feel his loss. Tom was a superior neurologist to whom I repeatedly turned for advice about my patients and members of my own family. Medical care and teaching talent were deeply set into this wonderful man. One hour of Tom discussing a patient was worth twenty hours of study in celebrated neurology textbooks. Doctors of his quality are rare, indeed. I bid him farewell. Andrew Plaut”
