He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Katz and Rebecca Katz. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his sons, Daniel (Meg Parsont) and Andrew (Denise Padilla); his grandchildren, Lucia and Salvador Katz; and his sister Eleanor Shrier.
