He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosario Vona and Dorothea Vona (Bruzzese); and his siblings, Frederick and Francis Vona. He is survived by: his wife Florence A. Vona (Rand); his children, Robert P. Vona, Jr. (Samantha) of California, Stephen P. Vona (Donna) of Newton, Kenneth B. Vona of Sudbury, Brian R. Vona (Heidi) of Sudbury and Darlyne M. Mattia (Anthony) of Sherborn; and his sisters, Dorothy Scarlett of Yarmouth and Patricia Clegg of Pocasset. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
