He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertram Zakon and Rosie Zakon (Gold); and his father-in-law Henry Meyers. He is survived by: his wife Ellen R. Zakon (Meyers); his daughter Jacqueline Zakon; his brother James M. Zakon; his parent-in-law Helaine Meyers; and his siblings-in-law, Leslie, Kenneth Zises, Frances Meyers, Michael and Kathy Meyers.
