It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard John DeRosa Sr. of Newton, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 17, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel DeRosa and Frances DeRosa (Tabacher). He is survived by: his wife Marjorie F. Sweeney; his children, Richard J. DeRosa Jr. (Geri Ann) of Glastonbury, CT, Francine Seeto (Clifford) of Framingham and Diane Corsetti (Enrico) of West Newton; his grandchildren, R. J. (Kiara), James (Melody), Jessica (Edison) and Niki (Mike); his great grandchildren, Isabella, Izan and Avalee; and also Mandi Garfield. He is also survived by other daughter, numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
