She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Halperson and Clara Halperson; her husband Dr. Samuel Goodfader; her son Joel Goodfader (Marlene); her brother Dr. Bertram D. Halperson; and her siblings-in-law, Yevette and David Feinstein.

She is survived by: her children, Emily Goodfader and Meryl Goodfader; her nieces and nephews, Dr. Carey Kaplan, Michael Halperson, Peter Halperson and Paula Manburg (Bill Manburg); her great-nieces, Sarah, Lauren and Renée; her friend Sarasota; and also, David and Sam.
