Maxine Breen Obituary
The memory of Maxine Breen (Newton, Massachusetts), who passed away on April 4, 2025 at the age of 93, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Harold F. Breen; her sons, Thomas and David Breen; her parents, Edward Edmunds and Frances Edmunds; and her siblings, Edward, Alfred and Phyllis.
She is survived by: her children, Barry Breen (Carol), Susan Nitso (Paul) and Julie Richards (John); her grandchildren, Greg, Jeff Breen, Samantha, Josh Nitso (Rachel), Siobhan and Serena Richards; her nieces and nephews, Joan Troy, Valerie Faubel, Brock Edmunds, Teddy Edmunds, Michelle Honey and Angie; and her pet Mary-Kay.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Newton Cemetery Chapel (791 Walnut St, Newton Centre, MA 02459). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Maxine's memory may be made to the Audubon Society or your local PBS.
