He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Buffone (Battista); his parents, Angelo Buffone and Vecchio of Italy; his siblings, Marietta and Rocco; and his siblings-in-law, Nicola Maini, Filippo Giannetti, Rocco Lucchetti, Gaetano Giglio of France, Maria Battista, Dominic, Loreta and Loreto Coppola of Newton.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Anne (Adam Proia) of Newton, Rosa (Sandra Rice) of Newton and Anna; his parents-in-law, Umberto and Elena Battista of Newton; his siblings, Ascenza, Vittoria, Loreto, Antonio, Anna of Italy and Ida of France; his siblings-in-law, Maria Marciano, Ina (Rocco), Vincenzo Colasanti of Italy, Bernardino Deodati of Italy, Alice Battista of Newton, Filomena Battista of Newton, Mario Proia, Anna, Teresa, Antonio Calcagni of Newton, Alfred and Marjorie Battista of Florida; and his godsons, Erminio Formato, Rocco Greco and Bruno Coppola. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
