He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Laurie Gerber (Tidor); his parents, Rebecca Gerber and Israel Gerber; his daughters, Cheryl Gerber, Jennifer Gerber and Julie Rivera (Yimi); his granddaughter Luna; and his brothers, Steven Gerber (Ellen) and Geoffrey Gerber (Laurie).

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Temple Beth Elohim or Brigham and Women's Hospital.
