Laraine J. Canty Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 1, 2024, at the age of 79, Laraine J. Canty of Newton, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Laraine may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Laraine touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Canty and Mabel Canty; and her brother Gregory Canty. She is survived by: her siblings, John (Mary Fischer) and Susan York (Paul York); her nieces, Megan York and Katelyn York; her great-nephew Liam York; and her cousin Jean Cain (John).
