She was predeceased by: her parents, Tattnall Simkins and Margaret Simkins; and her husband Peter. She is survived by: her sister Sally Taylor; her sons, Peter, Dan and David; her children-in-law, Francis, Alonso and Monika; her grandchildren, Amy, Emily, Timothy, Tiffany, Brandy of Brandon, CJ, John, Luke and Paul; and her great grandchildren, Connor and Skylar. She is also survived by her sixteen nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to Connecticut Audubon Birdcraft Museum, Bridgeport Ladies Charitable Society, or the Fairfield Museum and History Center.
