He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Vatalaro and Katherine Vatalaro; his brothers, Frank, Anthony, Michael, Robert and Ronald; and his daughter Thomas M. Cloonan, Jr..
He is survived by: his daughters, Paula M. Rose (David A. Rose) and Linda A. Cloonan (Vatalaro); his grandchildren, Tiffany R. Arpino (Nicholas Arpino), Steven A. Rose, Thomas M. Cloonan III (Courtney), Sherilyn A. Rose and Courtney M. Healy (Kevin Healy); and his great grandchildren, Jack, Evelyn, Eleanor Arpino, Quinn, Thomas, John, Colin, Ryan Cloonan, Saiorse and Colette Healy.
