It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jeanie Isabel Malone of Newton, Massachusetts, born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 4, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Archibald L. MacMillan and Murdena J. MacMillan (MacDonald); and her husband John J. "Butch" Malone. She is survived by: her nieces, Heather, Garda and Moira; her sister Emmy; her children, Dena McKinnon (Roger) of Framingham, Mass. and Robert "Bob" Duffy of West Bridgewater, Mass.; her grandchildren, Molly McKinnon of Framingham, Mass., Jake McKinnon (Rachel), Cassie McKinnon (Austin Melanson) of Millis, Mass., Drew McKinnon of Framingham, Mass., Katherine Duffy of Quincy, Mass. and Jack Duffy of Burlington, Vermont; her great grandchild Mac McKinnon of Marlborough, Mass.; her siblings, Emily Chandler and Hugh MacMillan (Bonnie); her former husband Brian Duffy; her stepchildren, Kathleen Mullane, Darcy Hood and John Malone; her cousin Florrie Mileikis; and her brother-in-law Richard "Dick" Murray. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins as well as countless friends.
