He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Kasten and Nina Kasten. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Winograd; his children, Nancy (David Stern), Steven (Susan) and Michael; his grandchildren, Jacob Stern, Josh Kasten, Nina Stern, Sam Kasten, David Kasten, Maddie Kasten and Lili Stern; and his caregiver Jack.
