It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George P. McCormack of Newton, Massachusetts, born in Brighton, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 3, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard McCormack and Marguerite McCormack (Murphy); and his son Michael McCormack. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou McCormack (Carey); his siblings, John, Bernard, Robert, Joseph, Francis McCormack and Anne Cotter; and his daughters, Marianne Cusano (Allen) of Hampton, Kathleen Amaral of Seekonk, Maureen Herrick of Newton, Tricia McCormack (Bryan Macnie) of Newton, Mimi Gunning (Joe) of Holliston and Ellen Kelly (Jim) of Ashland. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews.
