He is survived by: his wife Camille Conte; his children, Chuck Conte and Chris Conte; and his grandchildren, Charlie Conte, Emily Conte, Cadence Conte and Bella Gelfusa.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in his honor.
