He was predeceased by: his parents, Diederik K. Mulder and Marie C. Stolle. He is survived by: his children, Maarten (Wendy), Kaj (Alysia), Marieke (Randy) and Heleneke (Tania); and his grandchildren, Tom, Elleke, Ian, Rosalee, Carl, Kiana, Louie and Destiny.
Carel Mulder will be missed by his family and friends, but his kindness, generosity, and contributions to science and social justice will carry on.
