He was predeceased by: his wife Jane Ellen Greenfield (Covitz); his parents, Sidney Greenfield and Claudia Greenfield; and his sister Joan Greenfield. He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Dr. Lynne Hardy (Drew), Amy Arnold, Rabbi Mark Covitz (Stacy), Robert Covitz (Rabbi Stephanie) and Jeffrey Covitz (Elizabeth); and his cousin Jane Ellen Greenfield.
