Ann M. Doherty Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann M. Doherty of Newton, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 17, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin and Bridget Murphy (Betty Donoghue); and her significant other William F. Doherty. She is survived by: her daughter Sheila Gomez (Juan Gomez) of Newton, MA.; her siblings, Barbara Murphy of West Yarmouth, MA and James Murphy (Judy) of South Carolina; her sister-in-law Mary Clare Doherty; her nephews, Timothy and Matthew; her grandchildren, Emma and Gianna Gomez; and her great-nephews, Johnthan and Kevin Murphy.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Henry J. Burke & Sons Funeral Home (56 Washington St, Wellesley, MA 02481). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Parish (9 Glen Rd, Wellesley, MA 02481). A burial was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at the Mt. Benedict Cemetery.
