He is survived by: his wife Monique; his children, Christine Huvos of Brookline, MA, Anne Huvos (Mark Storella) of Bethesda, MD and Philip Huvos (Judy) of Needham, MA; his sister Marika Arthur of Los Osos, CA; and his grandchildren, Ziggy, Théo Storella, Ben and Henry Huvos.
He served as president of the New England States Chapter of the American College of Chest Physicians and was a fellow of the American College of Physicians, the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association.
