He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick R. and Margaret Champion (LaForce); his brothers, Donald and Gene; his brothers-in-law, Chuck Fisher and Peter Price, Sr.; and his son-in-law Ed Daly.
He is survived by: his wife Hildegarde (Kempter); his grandchildren, Sarah, Katy, Julia Daly, Savannah, Sam, Jack Champion, Owen Sailus and Anna Sailus; his sister Barbara; and his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Champion, Marion Champion and Mary Ann Price. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and a large circle of extended family, chosen family, and friends.
