The memory of Shirley A. Marshall of Newburyport, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 27, 2024 at the age of 85, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dalbert Kent and Roselie Kent (Gallant); her spouse Gayden Marshall; and her sister Patricia English. She is survived by: her daughters, Gayla Chase (Steve) of Danvers and Julie Williams (late Raymond) of Plaistow, NH; her grandchildren, Bethany Osborne (Brian), Amanda Chase (Gio DiGiacomo), Christopher Williams and Maggie Williams; her sister Jane Merrill; and her in-laws, Gordon, Judy Marshall, Andrea, Bruce Eaton, Sandra Gagnon, Najla Marshall, Gloria Williams, Paulene Marshall and Kathy Marshall. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Conte Funeral Home (193 High St, Newburyport, MA 01950). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (42 Green St, Newburyport, MA 01950).
