It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Croteau of Newburyport, Massachusetts, born in Somersworth, New Hampshire, who passed away on March 1, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Grenier and Imelda Grenier (Richard); her children, James Croteau III and Jane Smolski; and her siblings, Morris Grenier, Robert Grenier and Jeanne Twomey.
She is survived by: her husband James Croteau, Jr. of Newburyport; and her children, Ann Colby (Paul) of Newburyport, Mary Perry (John) of Newburyport and John Croteau (Jacinta) of Florida. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
