Peter Arthur Graves Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter Arthur Graves of Newburyport, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 5, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Peter farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Peter is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Graves and Marion Graves (Bolster); and his siblings, John Graves, Martha Starr and Gretchen Nolet.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Graves (Roche) of Newburyport; his daughter Terry Downey of Arlington, VT; and his grandson Harrison Downey. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and well as grand nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Conte Funeral Home (193 High St, Newburyport, MA 01950).
