He was predeceased by: his parents, Yves Rene and George Barbier (Streisguth); and his sister Shirley Carcasonne. He is survived by: his wife Kyle Asmussen; his children, Anthony Barbier (Kristen) and Stephanie Almeida (Matthew); his stepchildren, Stewart Prue (Diana) and Courtney Dennis (Mike); and his siblings, Christian Barbier and Lise Genet. He is also survived by many grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many wonderful friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Trust, checks may be made in honor of Patrick; or the Newburyport Senior Center.
