He is survived by: his wife Patricia Garrity (Giangrande); his children, Christalee Pellegrino (Domenic Pellegrino) of Reading, MA, Michael James Garrity II of Medford, MA, Jason Garrity (Maggie Garrity) of Portland, ME, Andrew Garrity of Newburyport, MA and Ryan Garrity of Newburyport, MA.; and his grandchildren, Alexa and Domenic. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
