It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kathleen McDermott of Newburyport, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 18, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Doherty and Margaret Doherty (Laffey) of Medford; and her cousin Mary Snider. She is survived by: her husband E. Gregory McDermott; her godsons, Brian Kennealy and Patrick Quill; and her siblings-in-law, Peggy McDermott and John MacPhee. She is also survived by 53 nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
