He is survived by: his wife Karen Souney (Quinlan) of Hampton; his children, Jennifer Messier (André Messier III) of Exeter, NH and Joseph M. Souney Jr. (Irina Calante) of Hampton, NH; his grandchildren, André Messier IV, Aedan Messier and Christian Souney; his sister Elizabeth "Bette" Bonjean of Punta Gorda, FL; and his brother-in-law Kevin Quinlan (Mary) of Marblehead, MA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
