He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jack" Short and Antoinette Short (Rossi); and his father-in-law Anthony Cirurso. He is survived by: his wife Ann Marie Short (Cirurso); his sons, Gary (Krissia) and Gregory (Yanci); his brother Jeffrey; his mother-in-law Lois Cirurso; and his granddaughters, Cayleigh, Michell, Daniela, Angelina and Yuvanna. He is also survived by his ten nieces and nephews.
