It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John H. Ronan of Newburyport, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 31, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint John leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Ronan and Catherine L. Ronan (Shea). He is survived by: his wife Frances G. Ronan (Kelleher); his children, John J. Ronan of Kennesaw, GA and Theresa K. Ronan of Newburyport, MA; and his grandchildren, Kamalea, Meganne Janvrin, Krystal Sawyer and Heather Spurr. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Conte Funeral Home (193 High St, Newburyport, MA 01950). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (42 Green St, Newburyport, MA 01950). A burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at the St. Mary's Cemetery.
