He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward P. Gavin and Irene M. Gavin; and his wife Patricia M. Gavin. He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Hall (Travis); his grandchildren, Brayden and Teagen; and his siblings, Edward P. Gavin Jr., Michael G. Gavin (Michelle), Peter G. Gavin (Holly) and Nancy I. Gavin.
