We are sad to announce that on February 2, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Gilbert M. Mello of Newburyport, Massachusetts, born in New Bedford, Massachusetts. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Mello and Domingos Mello. He is survived by: his wife Margarida (Carreiro); his children, David Mello (Jesamine), Elaine Bucher (Eric) and Janet Wetherbee (Dean); and his grandchildren, Laura Peck (Ethan), Christina Battles (Gordon), Benjamin Wetherbee, Isabel Wetherbee, Rachel Bucher and Jackson Wetherbee. He is also survived by met his future wife through family friends.

In lieu of flowers donations in Gil's memory can be made to The Salvation Army Massachusetts Division.
