George Lawler III Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 1, 2020 we had to say goodbye to George Lawler III of Newburyport, Massachusetts. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of George Lawler III to show support.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Barbara A. (Corbin) and George H. Lawler Jr.; his grandparents, Mary Adelaide, George H. Lawler Sr., Edna M. and Willard F. Corbin; his siblings, MaryAnn Lawler of Newburyport, Tim (Cathleen) of Newburyport and Nancy (Mark Perrington) of Boulder Creek, CA.; his nieces and nephews, Nathan (Nurgul) of Aktobe, Kazakhstan, Bobby Furber (Celia) of Northern California, Corbin Furber of Northern California, Timmy Lawler (Kelly Lordan) of Melrose, MA, Maggie Rose Lawler of Everett, MA and Michael C. Lawler of Newburyport; and his brother-in-law Robert Furber.
It was a major disappointment to him when the COVID-19 pandemic forced the temporary closing of the CRC, but he made sure to stay up to date on the virus by tuning into Governor Charlie Baker's mid-day news conferences. Prior to COVID-19 restrictions he looked forward to his Thursday night outings to Wal-Mart in Salem, NH where he would spend time perusing the aisles doing his weekly shopping, get a haircut once a month, and enjoy a Subway sandwich, pretzel, and soda.
